| Takengon is a beautiful little town located at Gayo Highland, Aceh, Indonesia. Its areas consist of hills covered in the famous Sumatran coffee plantation and pine forest, a lake called Danau Lot Tawar, and paddy field. I took this picture in July 2013, some days after a 6.2 Magnitude earthquake hit the town and displaced over 50,000 people there. |
